Celebration Villa of Teays Valley will celebrate the First Annual Validation Week, August 17–23, recognizing compassion, connection, and person-centered dementia care.
Centered around “Meet Me Where I Am,” the week encourages caregivers and families to listen, understand, validate feelings, and honor each person’s experiences.
Throughout the week, Celebration Villa of Teays Valley will host activities that celebrate residents’ life stories and educate families and community members about Validation.
